Daniel B. Letson practices in the firm’s Labor and Employment, Civil Litigation and Probate Law concentrations. Dan’s clients include local governments, industrial and manufacturing facilities, automobile dealerships, other businesses and defense litigants. Dan performs litigation functions and trials in the civil courts and has a broad range of experience in probate matters including estate administration, will contests, guardianship’s, and mental health issues. His trials have been published in Ohio for Guardianships, Concealments and employment.

His employment and labor work is concentrated on the representation of employers and includes contract negotiations for management, arbitration defense, National Labor Relation Board appearances, defense of unfair labor practices, union elections and union decertification as well as defense of employment claims in the courts. Dan has experience with federal issues that include discrimination defense and contract claims.

Dan graduated from Champion High School in Trumbull County, Ohio, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Grove City College in 1979. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the School of Law at the University of Akron and was admitted to practice law in 1986. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, the United States District Court of the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Dan is responsible for the training and tutelage of numerous lawyers now practicing with major law firms throughout Northeast Ohio.

A lifelong resident of Warren, Dan is involved in several professional and civic organizations. He currently sat on the Trumbull County Children Services Board and presided as chairman for three terms. Dan has served as a board member to the Visiting Nurses Association and has chaired Trumbull County Bar Association committees, and served as an executive board member. He’s been named an acting judge of the Warren Municipal Court and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2003, by the National Association of Social Workers for his work on behalf of the mentally ill.

Presently Attorney Letson is the Chairman of the City of Warren, Civil Services Commission.

Prior to its merger he was a long standing member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Mahoning Valley.

David S. Swader

David S. Swader practices in the areas of Probate; Estate Planning; Taxation; Business; Commercial; Health Care; and Real Estate. In addition to the preparation of estate and medicaid planning materials, David has experience in administering estates and trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, will contest actions and mental health issues. He also has experience in conducting real estate transactions, initiating business formations and has assisted in the acquisition and sale of many businesses.

David graduated from Boardman High School in Mahoning County, Ohio in 1992. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Youngstown State University in 1995. David also obtained a Master’s Degree in History from Youngstown State University in 1998. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2001, and was admitted to practice law in 2002. He is licensed to practice law in all state, county and municipal courts in Ohio.

David is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.
